Liverpool have previously rejected the idea of a striker transfer.
Al Ittihad made an offer of over $100 million for the striker Liverpool Mohamed Salah.
Previously, the Reds, in particular head coach Jurgen Klopp, rejected the idea of selling the striker. It was reported that the Saudi club offered 70 million euros for the Egyptian. If Liverpool accept the new offer, Salah’s transfer would be the biggest in the history of the Saudi Arabian League.
Salah’s contract with Liverpool, for which the player has been playing since 2017, is designed for two more seasons. Last season, the Egyptian played 51 matches for the Merseysiders in all competitions, in which he scored 30 goals and gave 16 assists.
In the summer, Al-Ittihad completed the transfers of midfielder Ngolo Kante and forward Karim Benzema. The club also signed ex-Liverpool midfielder Fabinho.
Liverpool have scored four points after two rounds of the Premier League. The Reds next play Newcastle on 27 August.
