Roma set to complete Lukaku loan deal

Wolves management will hold direct talks with Chelsea in London over the weekend

Roma Interested in signing Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.

Italian club owner and president Dan Friedkin is in London for direct talks with the Blues over the weekend. Chelsea are ready to part with the striker, the key factors for the deal will be the loan fee and the salary structure.

Earlier it was reported that Lukaku is not included in the plans of the new head coach of Chelsea Mauricio Pochettino. The Belgian has not spoken to a coach and is training with the youth team.

Lukaku’s contract with the Blues runs until 2026. Previously, the striker turned down an offer to move to Al-Hilal.

Chelsea thrashed Luton 3-0 on Matchday 3 of the Premier League, scoring their first win under Pochettino. Roma started the new season with a draw with Salernitana (2:2). Wolves on Saturday will play on the road with Verona.
