The Chilean has signed a contract for one season.
Inter officially announced the return of the striker Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean moved on as a free agent and signed a contract until June 30, 2024.
Earlier it was reported that Sanchez will not renew the contract with Marseille. The forward was in talks with Inter, asking for a salary of 3 million euros per year.
Sanchez has already played for Inter from 2019 to 2022 (with a break). For the Nerazzurri, Alexis played a total of 109 matches, scored 20 goals, completed 23 assists.
The Chilean moved to Marseille last summer on a one-year deal. During the season, the 34-year-old striker made 44 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 18 goals and providing three assists.
Inter beat Monza (2:0) in the first round of Serie A. In the next match, the Nerrazuri will face Cagliari on 28 August.
