Coach Metalist 1925 – about an important victory over LNZ
Trainer Metalista 1925 Oleg Golodyuk commented on the team’s victory over LNZ (1:0) in the 5th round UPL.
“The game in the final phase, perhaps, is not only the problem of our team, it is the problem of any team, I think. Because it is very difficult to pass a rich defense. I would not say that it was our best game, in terms of game design, in terms of dedication – it is definitely one of the best. Due to this, I believe, we got these three very important points for us. We are happy with the goalkeeper, defense, midfield and attackers,” Golodyuk said.
“We were setting ourselves up for a very difficult game, and that’s how it happened. We worked out some of our moments more, and did not look at the opponent.
“Any victory gives confidence, especially psychologically. It is much easier for children to carry the load. Nothing has changed for us. We understand that we must score points in every game, if possible, so we will prepare with maximum dedication for the next round.”
Metalist 1925 is in ninth position in the UPL. The team of Golodyuk and Edmar will play the next match on September 3 against Rukh.
