Former Lokomotiv player Dmitry Sennikov explained the choice of the best player in the match between the Moscow club and Sochi in the 6th round of the WORLD RPL.
The match took place at the Fisht stadium and ended with the score 1:0 in favor of Lokomotiv. The scorer of the only goal of the match was guest striker Maxim Glushenkov with the transfer of Artem Dziuba.
Lokomotiv midfielder Anton Miranchuk has been named the best player.
— Miranchuk played a good game overall, he was a real leader on the pitch. He moved forward, shooting Dziuba in the moment with a goal, serving in the first half. So I gave him the title of man of the match.
Dzyuba also had a good and productive game. He helped the team a lot today. First of all, Lokomotiv created chances today, it was clear. I liked Dzyuba’s movements, all forward passes – he was on point, ran into the penalty area, the amount of work was huge, – Sennikov told MATCH PREMIER.
Mikhail Galaktionov’s team moved up to 8th place in the RPL standings, gaining 9 points. Sochi is 12th with 6 points. In the next round, the Moscow club will play at home to Baltika on September 3, Sochi will visit Orenburg on the same day.
