Italian specialist Roberto Mancini became the new head coach Saudi Arabia according to the national team’s press service.
Officially, the 58-year-old coach’s contract length has not been announced.
The media wrote that the deal with Mancini would be for three years and his salary would be 30 million euros per season.
Earlier, the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) announced Mancini’s departure as head coach of the Italian national team.
Under his leadership, the Italians won the European Championship and also twice finished third in the Nations League. He has worked with the team since May 2018, before which Mancini coached Russian Zenit.
