Manchester City narrowly beat Sheffield United, sending fans into a frenzy.

An interesting episode took place in the Premier League match between Manchester City and Sheffield United in the third round of the championship. It will be remembered that the champions of England barely beat the opponent 2:1. One of the goals in the meeting was scored by the Norwegian striker, “citizens” Erling Haaland.

And it was during the goal celebration that an unusual episode occurred. A fan runs off the field, slams the star forward in a frenzy, jumps back on his back. Erling himself was neither scared nor angry – he celebrated his goal with this man, then the stewards removed the fan from the field.

The moment of “attack” at 1:30 min.

It later transpired that this was no ordinary fan, law and order had been violated by former world boxing champion Terry Flanagan, a long-time fan of Manchester City.

Note that Flanagan held the WBO lightweight title from 2015 to 2017. He became the first Englishman to win a championship belt in this weight class.
