The head coach of Kryvbas, following his colleague Grigorchuk, expressed his dissatisfaction with refereeing in the UPL
Head coach Kryvbas Yuriy Vernidub shared his frank opinion about the problems with refereeing in Ukraine.
“In my opinion, an assistant coach, or anyone, when a woman is refereeing, has no right to shout offensive words at her. But you see what we are doing in refereeing. Even if Roman Grigorchuk yesterday [27 августа] issued a whole tirade on this occasion … It means that Vernidub is not the only one who does not like to lose.
“When it’s humane, as it should be: you lost, shook hands with a colleague and left, and when your team is openly killed, that is discontent. Examples: Grigorchuk, Rotan … With such refereeing, we can come to the point that soon there will be muzzles to beat right on the field, ”summed up Vernidub.
The match of the 5th round of August 28 between Obolon and Kryvbas (0:0) was served by the brigade of Ekaterina Monzul. At the post-match press conference, the Krivorozhan mentor commented on the episodes of his skirmish with representatives of the opponent’s coaching staff.
Earlier, after losing to Vorskla (1:2), Chornomorets coach Roman Grigorchuk spoke even more harshly about refereeing.
Yuriy Vernydub’s team is 5th in the UPL with 8 points. In the next round, Kryvbas will face Kolos on September 3.
