Ukrainian will definitely not play with Wimbledon in the League Cup
Ukrainian midfielder Chelsea Mikhail Mudrik continues to recover from the damage he received in training.
Player national team of Ukraine has already missed the league game against Luton (3-0) and will definitely not play in the 2nd round match of the League Cup against AFC Wimbledon, which will take place on Wednesday, 30 August.
On August 24, Blues head coach Mauricio Pochettino expected the midfielder’s rehabilitation to take no more than a week. However, at the moment, the timing of the restoration of Mudrik is not called. Accordingly, his participation is under threat not only in the Premier League match against Nottingham Forest (September 2), but also in the 2024 Euro qualifiers against England and Italy (September 9 and 12).
