club debuts Arena MRV with flaws

Atlético-MG officially debuted its stadium last Sunday, the 27th, but despite the victory and the cheering crowd, the venue showed some important flaws

O Atlético-MG debuted this Sunday, the 27th, its new stadium in an official game played against saints, for the Brasileirão. Despite the victory, the new home of the team from Minas Gerais left some important points to be reviewed by the board, such as the “blind spot”, already commented by the press, in addition to the lawn and internet outages.

The “blind spot” is nothing new, since in the last test event, open to fans, it was noted that behind one of the goals it was not possible to see the entire field. After images viralized on the internet, the board said that that place was designed for fans to be seated, and that way it would be possible to see the entire game.

In addition, the arrival at the stadium had its points, as the congestion is great, as in most of the world. Thus, the subway became the best option, even though it is about 2 km away. The other possibility was to go by car and park in private places, or to arrange with “flanelinhas”.

Another important point was the internet, which did not work and prevented fans from accessing their accounts to pay for food and drinks using pix. In addition, the club had made available an application to buy in advance and withdraw what was consumed, but the QR Code was not generated due to lack of connection.

Finally, the lawn was also a point of attention. Despite looking nice, and allowing the ball to roll during the game, some points came loose. After a piece of grass came loose in the second half of the match, the maintenance team entered the field to fix it, leaving the confrontation paralyzed for two minutes.
