Even so, the team’s performance remains worrying in the Brasileirão, the only competition in which the club managed to remain. “I am responsible for what happened. There’s no way to fight with the result, or lack thereof. All the people who passed through Santos this year are very good professionally, I have no reason to point the finger or complain about any of them. But when you don’t have results in football, you have to change.”explained Rueda.
“We changed the command of the team, we brought in new players to qualify the squad and replace the departures we had and now it is time to do everything possible to restore Santos to the level it deserves”. In addition, the president of Alvinegro highlighted that the fans are right to demand improvements and criticize the management.
