In total, as of August 2023, the group of companies transferred more than ₴380 million to the state budget
The Ukrainian group of companies FAVBET summed up the results of work in the first half of 2023. According to the results of the first half of the year, the country’s leading iGaming holding increased the volume of assistance to the army and contributions to the state budget through regular royalties. FAVBET also remains one of the largest taxpayers in Ukraine, which replenished the treasury by ₴500 million in taxes in August alone.
In addition to supporting the economy, over the past six months, FAVBET has focused on the implementation of a number of social projects in conjunction with government agencies and its own charitable initiatives in several areas. Leading — development of sports, assistance to Ukrainians affected by the war, and provision of the Ukrainian army.
₴280,000,000 royalties
During the first half of 2023, FAVBET was transferred to the budget over ₴280 million in the form of payments for the renewal of existing, as well as new licenses. In total, as of August 2023, the group of companies transferred to the state budget over ₴380 million.

More than ₴150,000,000 for APU: drones, cars, modern equipment
Since the beginning of the war, FAVBET and the FAVBET Foundation have been actively involved in projects and initiatives aimed at increasing the defense capability of Ukraine. These are donations from the Come Back Alive Foundation and UNITED24, and the transfer of funds to special accounts of the National Bank.
In 2023, systematic work to equip the Ukrainian army only intensified. In the summer, FAVBET became partners of the UNITED24 fundraising platform and joined its key initiatives. In particular, the company allocated ₴57,450,000 for the purchase 53 new pickups to equip UAV strike companies as part of the Army of Drones program, which is being implemented under the auspices of the Ministry of Digital Development and the defense departments.
FAVBET also became the largest corporate donor of the UNITED24, Come Back Alive and Monobank joint project “Operation Unity” for the purchase of 10,000 FPV drones, providing ₴10 million.
In turn, by mid-2023, with the assistance of the Favbet Foundation, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already received more than 150 vehicles of various types and modifications. — from armored off-road vehicles to fast ones for evacuation, — as well as more than 80 drones of various types.
Addressing current humanitarian challenges and focusing on the future
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of FAVBET and Favbet Foundation, it has been quick to respond to the humanitarian problems caused by the war. Employees of the group of companies and the fund are joining the evacuation from the front-line regions, are engaged in the delivery of humanitarian cargo, the adaptation of migrants.
In the first days after the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station was blown up by the occupiers, the fund’s team organized the delivery of humanitarian aid and medicines to the Kherson City Clinical Hospital named after A. S. Luchansky. At the same time, FAVBET allocated ₴5 million to eliminate the consequences of the terrorist attack at the Kakhovskaya HPP, supporting the “Let’s Help Rescuers” fundraiser from UNITED 24.
The medical field is also developing. So, in February 2023, FAVBET allocated ₴4 million for the purchase of a modern ultrasound system for the Okhmatdet hospital, which makes it possible to carry out complex operations to remove shell fragments with great accuracy, as well as to perform other surgical procedures in connection with oncological diseases and vascular pathologies.
For the Favbet Foundation, 2023 was marked by the launch of the Superhero Club, a large project dedicated to the all-round development of Ukrainian children. The project combined three thematic initiatives at once – basic IT knowledge in the format of courses, free sports and provision of office supplies.
As part of the Club, more than 5,000 children from families of military personnel and IDPs received large boxes of stationery for learning and creativity, 352 completed a Python programming course, and more than 100 are now free of charge in football, basketball, boxing and wrestling sections in Kiev .
Responsible gaming and clean sport
The safety and comfort of Ukrainian players is an absolute priority for FAVBET. That is why in 2023 the company joined to the first Ukrainian study of gambling addiction under the auspices of the Ministry of Health and provided professionals with uninterrupted access to their facilities. The results of the study, published on June 20 this year, will be used to create effective mechanisms for preventing gambling addiction both at the state level and within the services of the organizing companies.
Another important element in FAVBET’s efforts to build a civilized gambling entertainment market was the signing of a memorandum with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to protect the sports ethics of clearing Ukrainian sports of fixed matches. According to the text of the memorandum, the parties will exchange information about suspicious results, conduct joint educational activities and cooperate on improving anti-corruption legislation in the sports field.
