About the best personalities and the main figures of the tour – here.

Goalkeeper – Georgy Klimov (Niva Buzovaya)

In the Buchan match, everything was decided by one goal, but if Chernivtsi had felt a weakness in Niva’s formations somewhere, this goal would not have remained the only one in the match. Three times the goalkeeper of Buzovchan Klimov seriously entered the game. He pulled three targeted shots from Palahnyuk from the field and from a free kick, and was generally convincing when the flanking raids of the active Faraseenko, Palamarchuk and Duhota needed his intervention. A “dry” victory best characterizes the goalkeeper’s game.

  • Best in Group B: Alexander Litvinenko (Victoria)

Right back – Dmitry Shinkarenko (Prykarpattya)

The match, which will be hard to forget, was held by the right fullback of the Carpathians Shinkarenko. Seven goals were shipped by the hosts to the gates of FC Khust, more than half of them – with the direct participation of Dmitry. He personally scored the second and fifth goals of his team, and also acted as an assistant for Foma and Rudyuk in the final two goals. Of course, we understand the difficulties of Transcarpathians, who lost four leading players after the start of the season and played 2/3 of the match in the minority – after the goalkeeper was sent off, but four effective actions per match for a defender is a tough statistic.

  • Best in Group B: Bogdan Falcon (Victoria)

Central defender – Artem Terekhov (FSK Mariupol)

Ingulets had never lost points in the championship before, and FSK Mariupol seemed to have to leave all its strength in a grueling cup confrontation with the representative of the UPL – Kolos Kolov, who went to a penalty shoot-out. However, for example, Terekhov, running back in 120 minutes in the middle of the week, in the First League gave a strong match against the Petrovites. He not only managed to impose a tight fight on the powerful Sitalo (even at the moment of his removal he was nearby and did not let go of Artem), but at the end of the meeting he managed to even the score on the rebound. A significant contribution to this success of the Azov people.

  • Best in Group A: Andrey Zin (Niva Ternopil)

Central defender – Andrey Nelin (Victoria)

Victoria’s stable defensive link provides her with a predictable and difficult result. For the fifth time, the team from Sumy region wins with a minimum score, and for the fifth time in this difficult series, the defense of the Immortal works brilliantly. We note Nelin – playing against former teammates from Gornyak-Sport, he generally kept up with young rivals. The shot on the crossbar was not due to his responsibility, but in other moments Andrey acted tightly at his goal and won a lot of fights.

  • Best in Group A: Sergey Shvets (Prykarpattya)

Left back – Dmitry Ulyanov (Victoria)

The left-backs did not play as brightly as the right-backs this round. However, we give credit to Ulyanov, who, with a fairly attacking nature, paid a lot of attention to the game without the ball and achieved quite good indicators in tackles, interceptions, and passing accuracy. The only thing missing was the usual protracted connections, but Dmitry did the preparatory work. Often it was he who started the attacks, during which his partner on the flank Mashtalir or even the defensive midfielder Pokotilyuk, who moved into this zone, sent the ball into the penalty area.

  • Best in Group A: Gleb Popchuk (Prykarpattya)

Central midfielder – Valery Garden (Metallurgist)

The Chernihiv team should have been remembered by Metalurh, because they took four points out of six possible from him last season. However, this time the Cossacks did not leave the Tigers a chance. From the first minutes, I liked the focus on the goal of the middle line of the nominal owners, each of which was remembered for an attempt to break through and give a particularly refined pass. Without scoring from the field, Sad opened the scoring from a penalty kick earned by Mogilny. Then, after a corner and Basov’s rebate, he returned the advantage to his team with a header in the fall. Valery performed well in the center of the field and often started attacks from deep (in particular, the third effective one).

  • Best in Group A: Roman Volohaty (Niva Ternopil)

Right midfielder – Vladislav Voitsekhovsky (Left Bank)

At the start of the season, Voitsekhovsky shamed all the skeptics who managed to “write off” him after several unsuccessful seasons. In the match with Dinaz, for example, it was Vladislav who provided three points for the Left Bank. He scored twice – opening the scoring from a rebound from a corner in the 9th minute, bizarrely and at first glance awkwardly throwing the ball into the far corner. Five minutes later, with another corner, he acted as an assistant for Slotyuk in the second goal. And later, having played with Sukhoruchko, he scored the third goal for the people of Kiev and the second goal for himself. With three more players, Vlad shares the lead in the most accurate table.

  • Best in Group A: Maxim Protsiv (Niva Ternopil)

Attacking midfielder Ambrosius Chachua (Carpathians)

The match with Metalist didn’t look like it could be judged by the sign. The nominal hosts were forced to accept the Karpaty on their field due to the inability to play in Kharkiv and the reconstruction at the stadium in Uzhgorod. The composition of the visiting team was significantly rejuvenated, there were personnel losses. Already in the second minute, having closed the pass of Kostenko, Chachua largely closed this match. Surprisingly, the always active midfielder has not been known for effective actions before. In the future, he successfully played in the center of the field with Demchenko and Ryabov, who came on as a substitute.

  • Best in Group B: Dmitriy Shcherbak (SK Poltava)

Left midfielder – Bohdan Shmigelsky (SK Poltava)

The first half did not foreshadow the historical defeat of Kremn, but it was Shmigelsky who did everything to give SK Poltava an advantage in the regional derby. It was he who hit the opponent’s hand, and then opened the scoring with a direct free-kick. Immediately after the break, he consolidated the advantage of the guests with the transfer of the successful joker Buzhin, and then, with his assist, helped Nikolai bring the score to a devastating one. At the time of Bogdan’s replacement, the Poltava team scored five unanswered goals and eventually won the biggest victory in their time in the PFL.

  • Best in Group A: Jan Kostenko (Carpathians)

Forward – Andrey Khoma (Prykarpattya)

Of the seven goals of his team in the match with FC Khust, Khoma scored three – the first (after a flank serve by Titaevsky with a head), the fourth (ran into the goalkeeper from the depths after a pass by Buchakchiysky) and the sixth (after a pass by Shinkarenko). Andrei moved a lot and usefully along the entire length of the field, in particular, it was he who started on the pass of Romanov and earned a red card for the goalkeeper of the guests Ryabenko, which can be considered a decisive episode in an eventful match.

  • Best in Group B: Vadim Shavrin (Victoria)

Forward – Michael Sergiychuk (Niva Buzovaya)

Back in the spring, Sergiychuk restarted his career in Bukovina, and now, taking advantage of Knysh’s serve, he skillfully worked the ball towards the end. Mykhailo did a lot of work in front, he could score again (remember the moment with a free kick) and in general did a lot to ensure that Buzovskaya Niva continued its successful streak and did not let Karpaty go into sole leadership.

  • Best in Group B: Dmitriy Shcherbak (SK Poltava)

Tour coach – Anatoly Bessmertny (Victoria)

Despite the rather respectable average age of the team and its leaders, Victoria successfully withstands tests on two fronts – one of the two representatives of the PFL made it to the 1/8 finals of the Ukrainian Cup and remains unbeaten even against matches with the most status rivals at her level. Separately, we note that Victoria won five matches in a row in this most energy-intensive marathon with a minimum score.

Joker of the tour – Dmitry Galadey (Nyva Ternopil)

Artur Ryabov from Karpatov and Nikolay Buzhin from Poltava entered the game very well – however, they completed what their predecessors had done, developed the achievements of the first half. But Galadey from Ternopil appeared on the field with a score of 2:2, shortly after Epicenter equalized the score, and six minutes later he closed Khrustavka’s serve and brought Niva a super strong-willed victory in Kamyanets-Podilskyi.

The best young player of the tour – Jan Kostenko (Karpaty)

It is a very difficult job to compete for a place at the base in a team where there are Kartushov, Kozhanov, Sakov and a few other players who can be placed on the left flank of midfield without any problems. 20-year-old Kostenko from SK Poltava by no means looked like the first choice for this position, but during the season he earned the attention of the coaching staff and has been receiving playing time for several matches in a row. In the match with Metalist, Jan co-authored an early goal in the second minute, providing an assist to Chachua.

  • Sport Arena stats: 4 league matches, 1 assist.
Tour goal – Bogdan Shmigelsky (SK Poltava → Kremin)

An elegant free kick from the Poltava player Shmigelsky in Kremenchuk, both goals from the left-banker Voitsekhovsky in Kiev, a “fish” from the Zaporozhian Sad in Uman, another cool shot from the Carpathian Ryabov in Lviv – albeit with an obvious mistake by the goalkeeper Metalist. We had something to choose in the reporting round, but what can we do against the filigree execution of the standard? Quoting the report: “In the 21st minute, Shmigelsky earned a free kick at the penalty line, hitting the defender’s hand – almost a penalty. And he himself realized the standard, breaking through with force into the upper corner of the goalkeeper.

The goal can be seen on the video at 1:07
