New Chelsea owner Boeli met with Ronaldo’s agent and discussed the striker’s possible move

Cristiano’s contract with Manchester United runs until summer 2023

Last week in Portugal a new owner Chelsea Tom Boely had a meeting with a famous football agent Georges Mendesrepresenting the interests of the forward Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo.

During the conversation, Boeli and Mendes discussed the possible transfer of Ronaldo to Chelsea this summer. It remains to be seen if the London club will attempt to sign the 37-year-old striker, whose contract with Manchester United runs until June 2023.

Ronaldo has previously said he is happy to be at Manchester United. However, the Portuguese is concerned about the lack of transfer activity of the Red Devils in the transfer market.

Ronaldo scored 24 goals and provided three assists in 39 games for Manchester United in all competitions last season.

Romelu Lukaku will leave Chelsea this summer. The Belgian will return to Inter on loan.

Chelsea finished third in the Premier League and will play in the Champions League. Manchester United finished the season in sixth position and qualified for the Europa League.
