Main coach Ears Yaroslav Vishnyak spoke about the preparation of the team for the new season of the championship of Ukraine, and also named the opponents of the Kovalevites in sparring.
“We will prepare at our base. We have created conditions for this. Fortunately, our infrastructure was not affected.
Control games with different rivals are planned. At the first stage, these will be amateur teams from the Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions. At the second stage, we have a preliminary agreement with Ingulets, Alexandria and Metalist 1925. This applies to games until the moment when there is a calendar. When the calendar appears, before the championship we will look for those opponents who will not get us in the first rounds, ”said Vishniak.
Earlier it was reported that Kolos plans to play seven test matches as part of the first training camp.
The start of the new season in the Ukrainian Premier League is scheduled for August 20. Kolos plans to hold home championship matches in Kyiv.
Kolos finished eighth in the Premier League last season, which ended ahead of schedule due to a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
