Zorya will prepare for the new season in Poland

The club starts preparations on June 28

Luhansk Dawn comes out of vacation on June 28 and will meet in Lviv. This was announced by the general director of the club Stanislav Oganov.

According to him, Zorya will hold a training camp in Poland. The list of players who will go to the training camp, as well as the name of the new head coach will be announced later.

Recall that last season in the UPL was not completed due to the full-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation into the territory of Ukraine. Zorya took fourth place in the standings and will play in the Conference League – the Luhansk club can host European Cup matches in Wroclaw and Poznan.

From July 1, the ex-coach of Zorya Viktor Skripnik should start working with Vorskla, which the Poltava club has already announced on its official website. In turn, the Lugansk club can be headed by the ex-coach of Dynamo Oleksandr Khatskevich, the Ukrainian specialist Oleksandr Babich and the Dutch specialist Patrick von Leeuwen.

The 2022/23 season in the Ukrainian Premier League should start in three cities – Kyiv, Lviv and Uzhgorod. It was reported that the final vote for the format of the new championship should take place in early July. In addition to the above-mentioned cities, Ternopil and Rivne are among the places that can host matches of the national championship.

The preliminary date for the start of the 2022/23 UPL season is August 20.
