The first sparring of Kiev before the start of the new season
Dynamo held the first sparring in Switzerland in preparation for the new season.
Mircea Lucescu’s team played a draw with Yverdon — 1:1. On a goal in the first half from Oleksandr Yatsyk, the Swiss responded with an accurate blow from Brian Breuer.
Kyivans have control matches ahead of them against Lausanne (June 29), Sion (July 2), Young Boys (July 5) and Lucerne (July 9). On July 12, the white-blues have two games scheduled against the French Lyon. Also, Dynamo can play a sparring match with Toulouse.
On July 20, Mircea Lucescu’s team will start the season with a nominally home Champions League qualification match against Fenerbahce, which will be held in Lodz, Poland.
The new season in the Ukrainian championship will start on August 20. Dynamo plans to hold home matches of the Premier League in the capital.
All Dynamo international friendly matches are held for charitable purposes. The proceeds will be used to solve the biggest humanitarian problems caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
