Svitolina and Stakhovsky sold their rackets at charity auctions

Athletes support their country

Ukrainian tennis players Elina Svitolina and Sergei Stakhovsky participated in charity auctions in support of Ukraine.

In Fulham, the racket of the Ukrainian tennis player and her uniform from the winning match for third place at the Tokyo Olympics were sold. The auction took place as part of a tennis day at The Parsons Green Club.

In turn, Stakhovsky sold his racket at a charity auction in Bratislava, with which he played the last match in the Ukrainian national team.

All the money raised during the auctions was transferred to Elina Svitolina’s charitable foundation and the Hospitallers’ Fund of Ukraine.

Early on the morning of February 24, Russia launched rocket and air strikes on most Ukrainian cities and then launched a full-scale military invasion. The war against Russia continues for the 123rd day.
