Sevilla ultras oppose the transfer of Sergio Ramos

Sergio Ramos seems to be having a tough time at his native Sevilla. After the defender’s return was officially announced, the ultras of the Spanish club opposed the move.

The Biris Norte faction released an official statement stating that the transfer of Ramos to the team was against the core values ​​of the club.

As Sevilla Football Club ultras for almost 50 years, we want to express our opposition to those who proposed this transfer. We are not driven by hatred or anger, but by love and pride for our club, its history and its fans. We believe that this transfer offer itself is a disrespect to the values ​​that raised us, to the symbols and legends that protect our armor, and to the thousands of Sevillian fans that this player disrespected in the past

We believe that this signing is more in the interest of directors who do not understand and do not know what they want. They do not understand what makes Seville great and only care about their personal and economic interests.

We are not like them, and we will always support Seville, but not the people who insult him with their decisions. We believe that Sevillians should have memory and pride, analyze the situation and draw their own conclusions. Each of us draws our own conclusions. We as a group are very clear. Although we know that less and less of us each day prioritize their values ​​over the economy, this is something that cannot be discussed in Biris Norte.

This communiqué is mainly addressed to the Board of Directors of Seville, because we believe that with each decision they move further away from a model that respects our way of feeling as a shield. We say again: dignity, appreciation and respect for the shield and fans are the foundation on which an organization with more than 100 years of history should stand. We are tired of seeing the shareholders of Sevilla put their economic interests first and not because of what it really means to be a Sevillian, although to some extent we understand this, because it is nothing but their business, their livelihood, and they did not grow. because of true love for this club.

We want to make it clear that, contrary to what many say, we at Biris Norte will not take any action such as insulting any player during matches. However, we cannot and must not support any action contrary to the principles and dignity of Sevilla Football Club.
