Club and player turn down big money hours before Saudi Arabia transfer window closes
Saudi Al Ittihad never managed to bend Liverpool to sell your leader Mohamed Salah.
A club from the Middle East offered the Reds 100 million euros to buy out the 31-year-old Egyptian’s contract, valid until 2025. The Arabians were ready to offer the most attacker from 500 to 600 million dollars for three years.
However, Liverpool refused the generous offer. It is reported that the Egyptian footballer will definitely not leave the Merseyside club in this transfer window, which closes today, September 7 in Saudi Arabia.
Al-Ittihad has already made some high-profile purchases this summer, signing midfielder Ngolo Kante and striker Karim Benzema (winner of the Ballon d’Or) as well as ex-Liverpool midfielder Fabinho. After the failure with Salah, the Saudi club will try to sign Betis defender Luis Felipe.
