Representatives of UPL participating teams will hold another meeting before the start of the season
Executive Director of the Ukrainian Premier League Eugene Wild said that all UPL clubs agreed on a working date for the start of the Ukrainian championship in the 2022/23 season – August 20th.
“There is a date agreed by all the clubs on the working group – August 20. We focus on it. At the moment, all clubs confirm their participation in the new championship of Ukraine and guarantee that they will be able to finish the season, ”the functionary explained.
“As soon as we receive all the regulatory documents agreed with state bodies, we will immediately set the date of the meeting. Hope this happens soon. We are constantly in touch and trying to expedite the process.”
Recall that the 2022/23 season in the Ukrainian Premier League should start in three cities – Kyiv, Lvov and Uzhgorod. It was reported that the final vote for the format of the new championship should take place in early July.
In addition to the above-mentioned cities, Ternopil and Rivne are among the places that can host matches of the national championship.
