The head coach of Dynamo Kiev summarized the results of his team’s first charity match.
Europe must not forget about the war in Ukraine and Dynamo, through their battles, will remind them of the critical situation. This opinion was expressed by Mircea Lucescu after the game at Legia Warsaw.
According to head coach Dynamo Kiev, the stadium in Poland is very well filled, because Ukrainians really need to express their feelings.
“I know the stadium in Warsaw will be filled. Poland, Romania, Moldova, and other countries are helping the Ukrainians a lot. Now Ukrainians need to express their feelings and football can help them here. Tonight is an incredible atmosphere.I want to thank all the people who went to the stadium and protested against the war.
And, of course, I will say that we saw a good match, two great teams played, which showed great football. For us it was the first fight in two months. It wasn’t easy, but it was noticeable that the players worked hard for the fans, for their enjoyment. Last week we trained and were in good shape. I was surprised at the quality of the game the teams presented.
We should still be like this because I don’t want people to get used to this situation. So that they do not feel that is usually happening in Ukraine. The whole of Europe must not forget that Ukraine is fighting. And we will show it through our battles. We will use our image opportunities to help people, ”Lucescu was quoted as saying on Dynamo’s official website with reference to TVP Sport.
