THE GAME!
Playing at home, Denmark started better, put pressure on the Brazilians and managed to open the scoring, in the 16th minute, with a great goal! Fê Palermo played wrong, Harder recovered the ball and served Thomsen. The winger cut to the left-handed leg and hit placed, at the right angle, with no chance of defending the goalkeeper Lorena: 1 to 0!
The Europeans almost widened in the 19th minute, when Harder broke free through the middle and triggered Svava from the left side of the area. The wing dominated and finished, with danger, on the diagonal of Lorena, who managed to defend with her feet. Brazil responded to 26 in a great move by Debinha who, inside the area, cut to the middle and hit unbalanced, but sent close to Christensen’s left post.
At 33, Denmark managed to recover a ball in the attacking field and Bruun gave a beautiful pass to Thomsen, who, on the right, kicked for Lorena’s defense in the left corner. At 41, Kerolin looked for the game in the middle, cleaned up the mark and filled his foot, but the ball passed the side of Christensen’s right post. Finally, at 46, Harder dominated near the crescent, got space and, with a beak, submitted it wide. 1-0 at the end of the first half!
END OF THE FIRST TIME!

Brazil came back better after the break and pressed in search of the equalizer, but ended up stopping in the excellent defenses of Christensen. At four minutes, Adriana found space on the right and crossed to Kerolin in the small area who, facing the goalkeeper, finished off. Then, at 12, Bia Zaneratto kicked in the corner of Christensen, who stretched out to defend. On the rebound, Debinha crossed to Imperatriz, who headed over the mark.
The Brazilian pressure continued! At 14, Debinha took a free-kick on the head of Bia Zaneratto, who headed in the right corner, where Christensen fell to defend. At 18, it was Bia Zaneratto’s turn to take a corner to Fê Palermo’s head, who deflected it for another save by the goalkeeper. And at 20, Adriana received it in the tip of the area and risked a kick in the right corner, but Christensen stretched and defended one more.
All the Brazilian pressure had an effect in the 41st minute, when Debinha scored a great goal and tied the match! The attacker received on the right wing, faced the marking alone and found space inside the area, where she managed to get her left leg and finished on top of Christensen who, this time, let it pass. All the same!
But the Brazilian party didn’t last long, because, in the 45th minute of the second half, Denmark got the winning goal! Nadim passed Fê Palermo on the right side and raised it to the second post at half height, where Gejl managed to dominate and kick left-handed to beat Lorena and guarantee the victory to the Danes: 2 to 1!
