Vorskla made it to the second round of qualifying Women’s Champions League.
In the final match of Group 2 of the Path of Champions, Vorskla confidently beat Croatian Osijek – 3:0. The victory for the Ukrainian champions was brought by a double by Veronica Andrukhiv and a goal by Nicole Kozlova.
Let us remind you that in the semi-finals of the mini-tournament, the Poltava team broke the resistance of the Estonian Flora in overtime – 4:3.
The draw for the second round of qualifying for the Women’s Champions League will take place on September 15. Matches at this stage of the tournament will take place on October 10/11 and October 18/19. The winners of the confrontations will advance to the group stage of the European Cup.
Last year, Vorskla stopped one step away from the group stage of the Women’s Champions League, giving way to the Albanian Vllaznia.
