Hans-Dieter Flick did not keep his position after another unsuccessful result for Bundestim.

Hans-Dieter Flick will not coach the German national team in the home European Football Championship. The German Football Association announced the dismissal of the specialist.

The reason is the poor results of the team led by a specialist. In the last friendly match, the Bundesteam was defeated by the Japanese team 4:1.

Along with the head coach, assistants Markus Sorg and Danny Roll were also fired.

Instead of the 58-year-old coach, Rudi Völler, Sandro Wagner and Hannes Wolf will lead the team as a coach for the friendly game in France on September 12.

The German Football Association will be looking for a permanent coach. Julian Nagelsmann is reportedly Flick’s preferred replacement.

Note that Flick will lead the German national team in August 2021. In 25 matches under his leadership, the team won 12 times, drew 7 times and lost 6 times. The total score is 60:30.

However, in the last 5 friendly matches, the Germans suffered 4 defeats and 1 draw.

We remind you that earlier it became known that they will try to attract Josep Guardiola to the national team of England.
