According to AS, the Turkish club have already made a second offer to Diaz and his representatives. According to the first, Mariano earned 4 million euros per season, in the second, Fenerbahçe representatives raised the rate and offered the striker a salary of 5 million euros per year. The transfer decision is expected to be made by Diaz himself, whose contract with Madrid ends in the summer of 2023.
Mariano graduated from Real Madrid. He played for the Madrid main team in the 2016/2017 season after which he moved to French Lyon for the season. Diaz returned to Real Madrid in 2018 and has been playing there ever since. In total, the Dominican striker played 73 games for the Royal Club in all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing 2 assists.
