Joyce: Joshua has a chance against Usyk

The Briton has changed his style of work in the ring

Undefeated heavyweight Joe Joyce commented on the upcoming fight between the ex-world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) and the holder of WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight titles Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs).

“Joshua started working on his technique and using footwork. He changed style. If he can assimilate new information and tactics, it will bring success.

“I really hope he can beat Usyk in a rematch. He has a chance. He is a competitive and strong boxer.”

The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will officially take place on August 20 this year in Saudi Jeddah. The boxers will once again fight for the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight title.

Last autumn, Alexander defeated the Briton by unanimous decision and won the heavyweight championship belts. The winner of the fight can fight Tyson Fury for the title of undisputed world heavyweight champion.

The rematch between Usyk and Joshua will be broadcast live on the DAZN streaming platform and will be broadcast on the PPV (pay-per-view) system.
