Athletistic/Football. Franco Camozzi, former advisor to the ex-owner of Spartak Moscow Leonid Fedun, shared his opinion on the possible return of Stanislav Cherchesov to the post of head coach of the red and whites.
“Personally, I think Cherchesov is not the best option for Spartak. However, like Guillermo Abascal. There are many other mentors in the world who are better suited to the red and white and can make this team stronger.
Stanislav Cherchesov is an experienced coach, but I doubt his style will suit the current Spartak,” Camozzi told RB Sport.
Stanisla Cherchesov was the head coach of Spartak from 2007 to 2008. Under his leadership, the red and white won silver medals at the Russian Championship. After working in Spartak, the 60-year-old Russian coach managed to work for Amkar Perm, Akhmat Grozny, Dynamo Moscow, Legia Poland, the Russian national team and Hungarian Ferencvaros.
