The defender noted the support of Ukrainian fans
Right back Ukrainian national team Efim Konoplya thanked the team’s fans for their support in the match against Italy (1:2) in the qualification for Euro 2024.
“It was a very tough game. Unfortunately, we were unable to get a positive result. But even here, at this wonderful San Siro stadium, you could hear the support from our fans, and you could feel the support of our fans in your heart. From people who were at home and sick in front of their TVs. Everything will be Ukraine,” wrote Konoplya on Instagram.
Hemp took part in both September matches of the Ukrainian national team. In the match against England, the defender gave an assist to Alexander Zinchenko.
After five matches played, the Ukrainian national team takes third place in Group C of the Euro 2024 qualification. The blue-yellows have 7 points. In the next match, Rebrov’s team will play against North Macedonia on October 14.
