Ukraine will be represented in all weight categories
Team Ukraine announced the lineup for 2023 World Wrestling Championshipwhich will take place in Belgrade.
The national team will include Olympic champion Tokyo Zhan Belenyukas well as the winners of the 2020 Games Parviz Nasibov And Irina Kolyadenko. Ukraine will be represented in all weight categories.
Freestyle wrestling (men): Kamil Kerimov (weight category 57 kg), Valentin Blyasetsky (61 kg), Erik Arushanyan (65 kg), Igor Nikiforuk (70 kg), Timur Gadyma (74 kg), Vasily Mikhailov (79 kg), Vladislav Prus (86 kg ), Denis Sagalyuk (92 kg), Murazi Mchedlidze (97 kg), Alexander Khotsyanovsky (125 kg).
Greco-Roman wrestling: Koryun Sagradyan (55 kg), Victor Petrik (60 kg), Alexander Grushin (63 kg), Parviz Nasibov (67 kg), Artur Politaev (72 kg), Dmitry Vasetsky (77 kg), Yaroslav Filchakov (82 kg), Zhan Belenyuk (87 kg), Sergey Omelin (97 kg), Alexander Chernetsky (130 kg).
Women’s wrestling: Oksana Livach (50 kg), Lilya Gorishnaya (53 kg), Maria Vinnik (55 kg), Alina Grushina (57 kg), Yulia Tkach (59 kg), Irina Kolyadenko (62 kg), Oksana Kukhta (65 kg) , Tatyana Sova (68 kg), Manola Skobelskaya (72 kg), Anastasia Alpeeva (76 kg).
In Belgrade, 90 tickets to the 2024 Olympics in Paris will be played in 18 categories. Four athletes in each category will receive licenses (the winner, the finalist, and those who took two “bronze” places). Additional spots will be awarded between the wrestlers who lose the bronze final.
The 2023 World Cup in Belgrade will take place from 16 to 24 September. The final competition will begin on September 18.
