The Ukrainian started in the first match for the Belgian team
Ukrainian midfielder Sergei Sidorchuk made his debut for Westerlo. The midfielder was in the team’s starting lineup for the home match of the 7th round Belgian Championship against Antwerp.
Sidorchuk moved to Westerlo from Dynamo, signing a three-year contract. As part of the Kyiv team, the midfielder played 327 matches (21 goals) and became the champion of Ukraine three times.
Sidorchuk played for the Ukrainian national team in the September Euro 2024 qualifying matches. The midfielder came as a substitute in matches with England (1:1) and Italy (1:2).
