RFU plans to discuss hosting retro match with Lokomotiv

In the Russian Football Union (RFUs ) are considering negotiating with “Lokomotiv” about organizing a legends match, RFU events director Kirill Tereshin told .

On September 9, the League of Legends Betting League match “Spartak-Moscow” – the world team in memory of Ilya Tsymbalar ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the “reds- whites.”

— There have only been two League of Legends matches in Moscow. Okay, that’s not much in two years.

— We spoke with CSKA and Dynamo. They are not particularly interested. I myself was a little surprised by the position. Kazan, Rostov, Samara are interested. If, relatively speaking, the clubs in the capital are not particularly interested, then we will not impose it. We believe that this is primarily aimed at the clubs’ supporters, and not at us.

— But the fans were waiting for the confrontation between Lokomotiv and CSKA in a retro match…

“We also thought and are thinking of him. We need to talk to Lokomotiv. We talked to CSKA this summer about two matches – it didn’t work out, we talked to Dynamo – we didn’t hear either, we didn’t see any interest. All that remains is to talk to Lokomotiv. There have been no conversations with them yet,” Tereshin told a correspondent.
