Russian coach Igor Shalimov criticized the leader of Spartak Guillermo Abascala for the situation with defender Ruslan Litvinov.
On Saturday, Spartak defeated Sochi in the eighth round of the MIR RPL with a score of 1:0. Before the match, Abascal explained why Litvinov was not in the team’s bid for the match. According to him, “before being sent to the national team, the player had an injury that the club knew about and talked about. Nevertheless, the defender played 90 minutes for the national team. Later, the head doctor of the Russian national team, Vladimir Khaitin, told that the national team had not received any requests or recommendations to remove Litvinov from the training process.
– Abaskal now has great powers, so let him speak for himself. If you don’t have clear information about it, why are you talking about it? Besides, after the match, we had to sound the alarm when we saw that Litvinov had played, because he was coming back. We had to know if they were saying that Litvinov had problems, if they were communicating with the team’s medical staff. This should all stop there. Why does he take it off? – Shalimov said on MATCH FIRST.
