The Romans got their first victory of the season thanks to Dybala’s double and debut goals from Sanches and Lukaku.
Roma defeated with a humiliating score Empoli in the fourth round of the Italian Serie A – 7:0.
The feast began already in the opening with a goal from Paulo Dybala, who scored from the penalty spot. The second goal was scored by newcomers: Renato Sanches scored for the first time for Wolves, Rasmus Christensen scored a premier assist. Next, Alberto Grassi scored his own, and in the opening of the second half, Dybala scored a double.
Roma, who missed victories, did not stop there. Romelo Lukaku scored his debut goal for the new club. Brian Cristante had a goal and two assists. Substitute Andrea Belotti also scored two assists.
Ukrainian legionnaire Empoli Viktor Kovalenko did not take part in this battle – coach Paolo Zanetti kept him in reserve.
This victory was only the first of the season for the capital club and allowed it to rise from the relegation zone to 12th place with 4 points. Empoli, as before, closes the table with zero points and the same number of goals scored.
In the next round, Roma will go to visit Torino, but before that, on September 21, they will play in the Europa League with Sheriff. Empoli will host leading Inter on September 24.
