Former Bayern Munich coach Julien Nagelsmann and the German Football Association reached an agreement in principle on the appointment of a specialist to the position of head coach Germany national team reports Bild.
According to the publication, Nagelsmann will sign a contract with the national team, the agreement will last until the end of Euro 2024. In the German national team, the coach’s salary will amount to four million euros.
Last week, the German national team lost at home to Japan with a score of 1:4 in a friendly match, after which Hans-Dieter Flick left the post of head coach of the national team .
Nagelsmann’s last job was at Bayern, which he left in March 2023. The 36-year-old specialist also managed Hoffenheim and Leipzig.
