Dynamo intends to keep an experienced midfielder and extend his contract
Al Ain wanted to sign a midfielder Dynamo Sergei Sidorchuk on the rights of a six-month lease, reports the host of the TaToTake program, Mikhail Spivakovsky.
Dynamo intends to keep Sidorchuk in the team and wants to extend his contract with him. The 31-year-old player of the Ukrainian national team has already talked with the president of Kiev, Igor Surkis, about a new agreement.
Sidorchuk’s current contract with Dynamo is valid until the summer of 2023. In the 2021/22 season, the midfielder made 23 appearances for the White and Blues, scoring two goals and two assists.
The other day, Al-Ain extended the contract with head coach Sergei Rebrov until June 2023. Under the leadership of the Ukrainian, the team won the UAE championship and became the winner of the Arabian Gulf Cup.
Last week, Dynamo, consisting of 25 players, went to a training camp in Switzerland. Mircea Lucescu’s team has already played the first test match, drawing with Yverdon (1:1).
