The club will prepare for a comeback in the 2023-24 season
Capital Football Club Left Coast announced that he would suspend the activities of his professional team for the duration of the next season.
The club management promises to return to the Ukrainian professional championship before the start of the 2023-24 season.
The Kiev club explained their decision by the need to allocate more time to create a new team.

“Recently, information appeared in the media about the alleged termination of the activities of the professional football club Levy Bereg. In the light of this information wave, we want to assure you that the Left Bank was, is and will continue to exist not only as a youth academy, but also as a very ambitious professional football club with great goals and achievements.
Recall that the club began playing at a professional level in the 2021-22 season, the prerequisite for which was hard and painstaking work to prepare the team for performances at the highest level. Having successfully debuted in the Second League in the fall, the team had plans to continue what they started in the spring part of the competition. But all plans were interrupted by the war.
Most of the players and representatives of the coaching staff of the Left Bank made a personal decision not to return to the country from the training camp in Turkey, remaining abroad, despite the fact that the club’s management created all the logistical conditions for returning to Ukraine and further cooperation. Given this, it was decided to terminate the relationship with the current coaching staff and players.
The team could not exist with such a composition. But since April 2022, the club has resumed its work, focusing on the work of the children’s and youth school, actively continued and continues to engage in charity. Now we understand that the construction of the main team, which would be a model for the students of the Academy, takes a lot of time. Therefore, the management of the club made the only right decision to temporarily suspend the activities of the professional team.
But we promise that the club will prepare for participation in professional competitions in the 2023-24 season. To this end, relevant documents will be prepared for consideration by the competent football organizations in the near future. In the meantime, we continue our work daily and actively.”
Earlier it was reported that the stadium of the Left Bank can host the matches of the next season in the championship of Ukraine.
Last season, Anatoliy Buznyk’s team took second place in Group A of the Second Ukrainian League and claimed to be promoted.
It is expected that the new season at the Premier League level in the championship of Ukraine will start on August 20 against the backdrop of martial law in the country.
