FHU suspended Shakhraichuk from his duties as head coach of the Ukrainian national team

This is an interim decision, the next meeting of the Disciplinary Committee will take place on September 21

Disciplinary Committee Ukrainian Hockey Federation (UHF) officially announced his dismissal Vadim Shakhraichuk from acting as head coach of the Ukrainian national team.

This decision was made during the consideration of disciplinary proceedings against a 40-year-old specialist. The opening of this case was reported the week before last. Details of the case, as well as the reasons for the suspension, continue to remain out of the public domain.

This decision is of an interim nature. Currently, Shakhraichuk is suspended for up to two months or until a final verdict is issued. The next meeting of the FHU CDC will take place tomorrow, September 21.

Vadim Shakhraichuk, a former famous striker, participant, Olympic Games 2002, led the Ukrainian national team in March 2021. In July 2023, it became known that the coach would combine work for the Kyiv Capitals and the national team.
