The championship of Ukraine will tentatively start on August 20
Kolos head coach Yaroslav Vishnyak commented on the upcoming season in the Premier League. According to the Ukrainian specialist, the teams need to show courage and play football.
“The main goal is to show that we can play at home. Also, people need to be switched to go to football sites, and not just news sites that are related to the war. If the players can distract people with their game, then it is worth a lot. I believe that football will help to distract, but do not forget about the war in any case.
“Now is the time we all need to be brave. You can’t be afraid all the time. When it’s scary, you need to remember the people on the front line or people who are serving and know that they will get to the front. Therefore, we must also show courage and play football. You can fly anywhere – both to the park and to the embankment. You have to be brave.”
Earlier it was reported that Kolos plans to play seven test matches as part of the first training camp. Among the rivals of the Kovalevites are Alexandria, Ingulets and Metalist 1925.
It should be noted that according to Sport Arena, Kolos may be strengthened by Ukrainian defender Serhiy Bolbat. In turn, the Kovalev club parted ways with striker Anatoly Nureyev.
The start of the new season in the Ukrainian Premier League is scheduled for August 20. Kolos plans to hold home championship matches in Kyiv.
