Ukrainians Serova and Hobta won silver at the Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating in Budapest

The Ukrainian couple lost only to the representatives of Georgia

Ukrainians Violetta Serova And Ivan Khobta won silver awards in competitions sports couples at the junior series stage Grand Prix in Figure Skating in Budapest.

Serova and Khobta took second place, scoring a total of 153.77 points based on the results of the short and free programs. The Ukrainians were only 0.18 points ahead of the Canadian pair Martin Ariano-Kent – Charlie Laliberte-Laurent.

The winners of the competition were representatives of Georgia Anastasia Metelkina and Luka Berulava – 190.45 points.

In March 2023, Serova and Khobta won bronze at the 2023 Junior World Championships. This is the first Junior World Championship medal in pair skating for Ukraine in 23 years. At the adult European Championships in Espoo, Finland, the Ukrainian couple took 9th place.
