Ruslan Rotan’s team extended its winless streak to six matches
Chernomorets beat on the road Alexandria in the 8th round match Ukrainian Premier League – 5:1.
Even in the first half, Roman Grigorchuk’s team cleared up all questions about the winner of the match by scoring four goals. Vitaly Ermakov, Andrei Shtogrin, Orest Kuzyk and Bogdan Boychuk scored effective shots.
In the middle of the second half, Alexandria scored a prestige goal through the efforts of Anton Kravchenko. Four minutes later, Guy Hadida scored the Mariners’ fifth goal to set the final score of the match.
Chernomorets scored 15 points and rose to second place in the UPL. Alexandria extended its winless streak to six matches and is in tenth position in the standings.
Next week the teams will play in the 1/8 finals of the Ukrainian Cup. Alexandria will play away against Rukh on September 26, and Chernomorets will host Krivbass on September 27.
