The UAF CDC deprived the ex-football player of all Ukrainian awards and banned him from engaging in football activities in Ukraine
Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne will consider the claim of the ex-player of Shakhtar and the Ukrainian national team Anatoly Timoshchuk against the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF).
The former football player filed a complaint against the decisions of the UAF justice authorities. The association is working to prepare a line of defense. The date of the meeting will be announced later.
Let us remind you that the UAF CDC banned Tymoshchuk from carrying out any activities related to football in Ukraine for life. Also, the ex-footballer was deprived of all titles of winner and silver medalist of the Ukrainian Championship, Ukrainian Cup, and Ukrainian Super Cup. Tymoshchuk appealed the decisions of the FTC, but the UAF Appeal Committee rejected the complaint in full.
Tymoshchuk also came under sanctions from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. The sanctions provide for blocking the assets of persons on the territory of Ukraine, restricting trade operations, as well as a ban on entry into the territory of Ukraine.
