The next round of sales will open on July 5
On the World Cup 2022 Qatar sold 1.8 million tickets, according to FIFA.
Most of the tickets were purchased by fans from Qatar. This is a special category of tickets available only to residents of the host country.
Among the main countries whose fans also purchased tickets are Canada, England, France, Germany, India, Saudi Arabia, Spain, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.
In total, FIFA expects to sell three million tickets for the matches of the Qatari World Cup.
The next round of ticket sales starts on July 5 and will be open until August 16.
The World Cup in Qatar will be held from November 21 to December 18. The Ukrainian national team did not reach the World Cup, losing in the playoff final to Wales (0:1).
