Chelsea won Brighton in the home match of the 1/16 finals English League Cup – 1:0.
Already in the 3rd minute of the match, the Chelsea winger Mikhail Mudrik threatened the opponent’s goal, but after the Ukrainian hit the ball flew straight into the goalkeeper’s hands.
The main events in the fight unfolded after the break. Nicolas Jackson gave Chelsea the lead in the 50th minute. In the middle of the second half, the forward scored again, but the goal was canceled due to offside. Brighton was unable to win back until the end of the meeting.
