– During your first season in Russia, you scored 14 goals, including one against Bleu-Blanc-Bleu. What is Zenit’s goalscoring plan for the coming year?
– There is no plan, because the most important thing for me is to improve every day, because every next game is a new challenge. I hope my efforts will help me score a lot of goals in a Zenit shirt.
– And in general, what objectives have you set for these three years?
– It makes sense that the main objective is to win Premier League gold medals with the club, as well as to fight for titles and win in all tournaments. This is the most important task, because these are the traditions of Zenit. And when the opportunity to play in the Champions League again arises, I would really like to get there with the Petersburgers, get out of the group and, why not, get as close as possible to the match for the trophy.

When we heard about the club’s interest, I received a lot of sincere messages on social media – they wrote that I should move to Zenit as soon as possible.
