Defender Joonas Tamm announced his departure from Vorskla. The Estonian national team player said goodbye to the Ukrainian club and fans on Instagram.
“Thank you for an unforgettable time. I wish you good luck in all Vorskla and all the fans,” Tamm wrote.
Tamm has been playing for Vorskla since last summer. The 30-year-old defender played in 17 matches for the Poltava team and scored one goal. Earlier in Ukraine, he played for the Chernihiv Desna.
Tamm spent the second part of last season on loan at Flora, scoring one goal and providing one assist in 15 matches for the Estonian team.
In June, Vorskla announced the appointment of Viktor Skripnik as head coach. The former mentor of Dawn will start working with the Poltava team on July 1.
In July, Vorskla will start in the second round of the Conference League qualification, where the first opponent of the Ukrainian team will be the Swedish AIK.
