The former Manchester City and Albiceleste footballer has criticized the national judge for his role in the duel between Corinthians and Boca Juniors for the Copa Libertadores.
Sergio Agüero fired with everything against Roberto Tobar. The former Manchester City and Barcelona player slammed the Chilean judge for his role in the engagement between Corinthians and Boca Juniors, valid for the first leg of the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores.
Kun, who retired from football this year due to heart problems, held nothing back when evaluating the national referee for his performance in the game which ended in a goalless draw. When the match clock marked 39′, the referee sanctioned a penalty in favor of the home team. Seeing the action, the trans-Andean disagreed with the judge’s decision.
“But what is this referee doing? It’s a double, now that I can say it, I don’t play anymore” , the Argentine began by saying during a broadcast on his Twitch channel. And it didn’t stop there. Then, he recalled the times he shared the pitch with Tobar, playing for the Argentine team: “Every time he directed him to Argentina it was a piece of salami. Total you can’t tell me anything, but you’re a double.”
He also assured that the judge had resentment towards Marcos Rojos, who committed the offence. This, for once the player of Xeneize reproached him for his actions during a match of Albiceleste. “Marcos Rojo went through it too, because in the national team he told him everything once” said.
Either way, the match ended scoreless, as goalkeeper Agustín Rossi saved Róger Guedes’ shot. Agüero, for his part, did not lose the option of targeting the Chilean judge for his decision.
