At the end of the last season, the club took 14th place in the First League
As became known Sport Arena, VPK-Agro may not start in the new season of the championship of Ukraine.
This is not the first club that runs the risk of not reaching the start of the PFL competition. Earlier, Sport Arena reported that Volyn, Karpaty Halych and Lubomyr may miss the 2022/23 season. Bukovyna, Chaika, FC Sumy and FC Nikopol are still considering their participation in the competition.
Left Bank, which suspended the activities of the professional team, will not perform next season. Agribusiness does not plan to participate in the new season either.
PFL President Alexander Kadenko said that 16 clubs should start in the championships of the First and Second Leagues. The season in the PFL can start at the end of August or at the beginning of September.
The 2021/22 football season in Ukraine ended ahead of schedule due to the invasion of Russian troops into the country. VPK-Agro took 14th place in the final standings of the First League.
