In Spain, a major criminal group involved in the organization of match-fixing has been eliminated

The Spanish National Police have eliminated an organized criminal group involved in match-fixing in the country and in the territory of Gibraltar. This is the official Interpol website.

This well-structured network is said to have generated more than €500,000 in profits, mostly from activities related to the lower leagues.

Authorities have arrested 21 people and six others are under investigation. Police also seized 60,000 euros in cash, two cars, mobile devices and computer equipment.
