Paul believes that the Briton will be able to defeat Usik due to his physical qualities
Former world light welterweight champion Paul Malignaggi commented on the upcoming fight for the absolute heavyweight title between WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO champion Alexander Usik And WBC belt holder Tyson Fury.
“Tyson has achieved his goal again. Do you know why you need to love this guy? Because it looks like a kinder surprise—you never know what you’ll get from it.”
“I think Fury will win. I think the odds are approximately 65/35 in his favor. I think it’s too big.”

The world community considers Fury the favorite in the fight with the Ukrainian. Among those predicting a victory for the Gypsy King are former heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder, interim WBO belt holder Zhang Zhilei, former super middleweight world champion Caleb Plant and former WBC cruiserweight champion Mairis Briedis.
At the end of September, it became known that Usyk and Fury signed a contract to fight for the undisputed title in the heavyweight category. It was reported that the fight is planned to take place on December 23 or January 2024 in Saudi Arabia.
The contract for the undisputed heavyweight title between Usyk and Fury contains a rematch clause. The clause applies to both boxers; the loser can initiate a re-fight.
Before the meeting with Usik, Fury will fight against Francis Ngannou. The fight will take place on October 28 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
